Saudi Aramco offers comprehensive benefits plans with the flexibility to tailor benefits to individual needs and preferences.

Retirement, savings and insurance plans

In general, expatriates either receive a company-funded retirement plan, a company-matched savings plan and a range of insurance plan options, or an annual cash payment equal to 17-19% of annual base salary, which allows each person the flexibility to make his or her own insurance and savings decisions, in addition to specific benefits provided by Saudi Aramco.

Saudi Aramco Incentive Plan (SAIP)

SAIP is designed to drive organizational performance and to recognize individual contributions beyond annual merit increases. SAIP is a broad-based annual and performance-based incentive plan.

Repatriation Allowance

Employees are paid annually for the travel costs from Saudi Arabia to the point of origin for the employee and each eligible dependent residing in Saudi Arabia.

Dependent Education

For Saudi Aramco expatriates living in the main Saudi Aramco communities, Saudi Aramco Expatriate Schools (SAES) offers an American curriculum education for grades K4-9. The schools have a worldwide reputation for their quality educational program, professional staff, student achievement, supportive parents, excellent facilities, and company support. Saudi Aramco generously provides for the schools, recognizing that a world-class program will continue to attract excellent employees and their families.

In addition to local schooling options, the company reimburses employees, up to established limits, to enroll their eligible dependents in local or private schools overseas. The program also covers the cost of a specified number of trips from the private school location to Saudi Arabia. These travel costs are also covered for eligible dependents who are attending college.

Annual vacation

As an expatriate employee of Saudi Aramco, you are entitled to 38 calendar days per annum of vacation leave plus travel days.

Company holidays

In addition to annual vacation entitlements, employees are typically granted between 9 and 11 days of paid holidays each year.
